Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte 2014 Agency Allocation
The Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte granted our 2014 agency allocation request for $10,000! This generous 100% increase in our allocation (from $5,000 last year) is a big show of commitment on the part of the Federation. They are impressed with what Shalom Park Freedom School has accomplished in the last three years: not only our successful effort to prevent summer reading loss among economically disadvantaged youth, but also our ability to encourage collaboration among 8 Shalom Park agencies as we work together to provide this meaningful social justice action project in our own backyard. As we enter the next three year phase of Shalom Park Freedom School, we ask all of our supporters to please follow the lead of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte and help us sustain Shalom Park Freedom School by giving generously not only to Shalom Park Freedom School but also to the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte during its 2014 Campaign.
