SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER THIS SUMMER here. Pick the date and desired volunteer activity and then you will be prompted to create a volunteer profile on Shalom Park’s Volunteer Hub. All volunteers are required to accept Freedom School Partners’ Child Protection Policy. This is done for the safety and security of our scholars and volunteers. Once the registration process is completed, volunteers can sign up for activities and events! Parents of younger teen volunteers are required to use their volunteer profile when signing up for volunteer opportunities.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEENS (Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th Graders)

High School Students (10th, 11th or 12th graders) can also volunteer in any way that they can. Volunteers in this age group can volunteer without parental supervision. They are also permitted to sign up for a leadership opportunity with the freedom school teen board. Teen Board members will commit to work as school assistants for at least two consecutive weeks between June 18- July 27th, 2018. Hours will be from 8:15am-3:15pm (some days until 4:15pm) five days a week. Opportunities will include working in classrooms, accompanying teachers and students on field trips, planning activities for the classroom, securing and delivering supplies, and other assistance as needed. A swim test and swimming with scholars will be required. Additionally, fundraising will be a component as our teen board will sponsor one teen for the summer program.
